Webmail lets you read and send your CFARS email from any web browser, on any computer, tablet or phone, with nothing to install or set up. It’s also a handy backup if your usual email program stops working.
Using a different device? See Email Setup (Start Here) to find the right guide.
- Go to https://webmail.cfars.net.
- Enter your full email address, ciw###@cfars.net, and your CFARS email password.
- Click Log in.
- If you see a page offering a choice of email apps, choose Roundcube. You can set it as the default so you go straight to your inbox next time.
Tip: bookmark the page, or add it to your phone’s home screen, so it’s easy to find.
What you can do in webmail
- Read, write, reply to and organize your CFARS email.
- Use your CFARS calendar and contacts. Anything you add there also appears on any phone or computer you’ve connected to CFARS.
- Change your CFARS email password.
On a shared or public computer
Always click Log out when you finish, and don’t let the browser save your password.
If something goes wrong
| What you see | What to try |
|---|---|
| “Login failed” or the password is rejected | Make sure you’re using your full address, ciw###@cfars.net, not just your callsign. Check Caps Lock is off. If you’ve forgotten your password, contact Brian for a new one. |
| The page won’t load | Check the address is exactly https://webmail.cfars.net. Try a different browser, or another network such as your phone’s data. |
Want email in an app instead?
